Debt Reduction By Setting a Budget

Exclusive Summary About Debt Reduction Budget by Carrie Reeder and Mike Singh

Most people avoid budgets like the plague. Creating a budget to help you achieve debt elimination is not a difficult process. Figure your set expenses, such as housing, food and utilities, and estimate your more flexible expenses, such as entertainment and clothing.

After you have allocated your money, apply all extra funds to pay ahead on your debts.

Reducing Debt

If you really want to reduce your debt, there is no better way than by tracking every single penny you spend and sticking to a realistic budget.

Online Resources

If you feel you need a little extra information and help on the budgeting process, there are hundreds of terrific online resources that can help you plan, budget and reduce your debt.

Debt Reduction StrategyWhat Is A Personal Budget?

Create another budget (this is fictitious) that lists all the costs every month , income sources and their difference. But… do not add any credit card interest payments. Also remove any car loan interest. Thats not all, if there are any expenses that could be more of ‘impulse’ purchases then add these to the running total.

This total could be around 15% of your monthly expenses. The key point to realize is that these charges can easily be prevented with some planning.

Do you really need that new car right now? How about that fancy watch? This habit of developing a budget will help you hold up a mirror to your fiscal habits.
